Aloo Samosa / Potato Samosa

Today blogger marathon #4 by Srivalli 1st day and i am posting my daughters favorite snacks specials for this 7 days of marathon and here is the first one, Potato samosa… this stuffing she like the most she eat it as it also. This masala does not contain more of red chilli powder and the peas blend with potato makes kids to love it. When I keep this masala as a filling for samosa it becomes easy for me to make her love it and she has more than 2 samosas with tomato sauce. One of my experience, when I sit in one place and started to make samosa she will be beside me and ask for filling and even she is interested to make the folding also. It becomes easy for me to make her engage in making samosa’s. Even while frying she will put the samosa inside oil.
Ingredients
Ready made samosa strips 10 no
Filling
Boiled Potato (big) 2no (smash it well or crumble with fingers)
Green peas ¼ cup
Onion (chopped finley) ½ cup
Jeera ¼ tsp
Oil for seasoning
Vegetable masala 2tsp
Red chilli powder ½ tsp
Garam masala ½ tsp
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Coriander leaves few
Salt to taste
Method
Filling
Heat oil in pan and add jeera. Splutter for ½ minute, add onion and fry well till brown then  add the fresh green peas. Add salt and other given masala. When the oil leaves the whole mass. Add potatoes, mix thoroughly well. Fry for 2 min in oil, add coriander leaves and mix. Keep aside to cool.
Take one strip of samosa strip, Make a triangular pocket in one end and stick the pocket with the maida paste. Keep little masala inside .Fold and roll the strip like we rool ribbon in triangular shape. At the end apply maida paste to the last end and stick well and prepare samosas in the same manner and keep ready. Heat oil in a pan for deep frying and when oil comes to the perfect heat for frying add 2 - 3 samosas at a time for frying. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
