Idlis are everyone's favorite, mostly there will be a left over idli at home 1 or 2. Whenever left over idlis are at home. I used to make some different dishes with it. I love podi idli. I used to mix it as it is and eat. But I remember I had this kind of podi idli in a highway hotel when we were traveling to Madurai. It was awesome and felt like having another plate of it. Really irresistible taste, who ever like idli podi they will love it. Ginger powder enhances the taste, lovely color and coriander leaves gives a special aroma. Here is a wonderful left over recipe. Try out and enjoy. No Sambar or Chutney needed.
Ingredients
Idli -3no
Idli milaigai podi – 4tsp (depends on the taste)
Green Chilli chopped – 1tsp
Ginger powder – 1tsp
Onion – 1no (finely chopped)
Curry leaves few (finly chopped)
Coriander leaves (handful)
For seasoning
Mustard seeds – 1tsp
Urad dhal – ½ tsp
Salt (if necessary)
